ONIX: Advanced training course (online)
Overview: This full-day modular course introduces several more advanced aspects of the ONIX standard and associated metadata. It mixes the detail of metadata theory and practice with real-world supply chain effectiveness in an experienced, pragmatic but authoritative way.
Benefits of Attending. Delegates will learn how to optimise their use of ONIX and deal with more complex aspects of metadata.
Course Level:Intermediate/Advanced. This course is suitable for delegates with a good background knowledge of publishing and some experience working with ONIX. It is aimed at staff with management responsibility for product metadata or software developers seeking more in-depth domain knowledge. Delegates should have attended the ONIX: essentials course, or have gained extensive experience of metadata management over several years. To ensure our attendees get the most out of the day, we recommend limiting the number of delegates for this course to 8.
Course Outline: The course content is modular and can be tailored to the particular needs and interests of the delegates. An individual course may contain any (though not all) of the elements below.
