ONIX Advanced Training (Chicago)

Overview: this full-day modular course introduces several more advanced aspects of the ONIX standard and associated metadata. It mixes the detail of metadata theory and practice with real-world supply chain effectiveness in an experienced, pragmatic but authoritative way.

Course Level: Intermediate/Advanced. The course is suitable for delegates with a good background knowledge of publishing and some experience working with ONIX. It is aimed at staff with management responsibility for product metadata or software developers seeking more in-depth domain knowledge. Delegates should have attended the ONIX: essentials course, or have gained extensive experience of metadata management over several years.

Course Outline: the course content is modular and can be tailored to a limited extent to the particular needs and interests of the delegates. Course delegates with any specific areas of interest or concern should discuss their requirements with BISG or EDItEUR in advance.
