EDI Implementation Guidelines for ISBN -13

The ISBN Standard ISO 2108 is in the final stages of a revision that means that from January 2007 the ten-digit ISBN ( ISBN -10) will be replaced by a thirteen-digit ISBN ( ISBN -13), initially starting with the three-digit prefix 978 or 979.  For more details, see the general 13-digit ISBN Implementation Guidelines.
