A Technical Introduction to ONIX and XML
This course is aimed at those responsible for developing, implementing or operating systems: for producing or consuming ONIX for Books product data; or for data quality control. This is a technical course and is therefore more likely to benefit those with development and operational roles and those with direct managerial responsibility in such areas.
One of the key aims of the course is to provide an introduction to XML for those with no knowledge of the technology, so no previous XML experience is necessary. The other key aim of the course is to introduce ONIX for Books from an XML perspective. It would be helpful if delegates have a basic understanding of the product information requirements of the book supply chain.
